About us
Originating in Wimbledon in the 1890s, and reformed in 1961, Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra is one of the leading amateur orchestras in London, and presents at least four concerts a season under the direction of our professional conductors and leader.
WSO has worked with distinguished conductors at the outset of their careers, including Martyn Brabbins, Nicholas Collon and John Wilson, and regularly accompanies some of the UK's finest emerging and established classical music talent, including Jennifer Pike, Martin James Bartlett, Imogen Hancock, Emily Davis, Benjamin Baker, Michael Petrov, Ben Goldscheider, and Natalie Clein.
